چکیده

Provision of Solid Made from Oil Palm Empty Fruit Bunches and Rice Husk Charcoal on Production Tomato Plants (Solanum Lycopersicum L) aims to determine the effect various types (Oil Bunches) L). This research was conducted in Sona Village with an altitude 18 meters above sea level Labuhanbatu Regency December 2019 March 2020. The material used tomato seeds, husk charcoal, solid water. equipment a 35x40 polybag, cutter blade, analytical balance, ruler, scissors, mortar, measuring flask, bucket, calipers, neat rope, hoe. will be factorial group design. first factor is provision namely S0: Without (Control), S1: 0.50 kg / S2: 0.70 polybag S3: 1kg polybag. second administration rice charcoal P0: P1: 0.2 kg/polybag, P2: 0.4 kg/polybag. number treatment combinations 12 combinations. results indicate that Against Plant has no significant Stem Diameter (cm), Total Number Fruits per (g), Weight (g). However, interaction 1 kg/polybag can increase diameter

Factors Affecting Delignification of Oil Palm Empty Fruit Bunch by Microwave-assisted Dilute Acid/Alkali Pretreatment

Microwave-assisted dilute acid/alkali pretreatment is an efficient and rapid method of removing lignin and hemicellulose, however, the optimized parameters for the maximum efficiency have to date not been presented in the literature. The purpose of this study was to determine those conditions by examining the effects of three factors: microwave power, temperature, and time on delignification in...

Production and purification of xylooligosaccharides from oil palm empty fruit bunch fibre by a non-isothermal process.

Oil palm empty fruit bunches (OPEFB) fibre, a by-product generated from non-woody, tropical perennial oil palm crop was evaluated for xylooligosaccharides (XOS) production. Samples of OPEFB fibre were subjected to non-isothermal autohydrolysis treatment using a temperature range from 150 to 220 °C. The highest XOS concentration, 17.6g/L which relayed from solubilisation of 63 g/100 g xylan was ...

Production of Monomeric Aromatic Compounds from Oil Palm Empty Fruit Bunch Fiber Lignin by Chemical and Enzymatic Methods.

In this study, oil palm empty fruit bunch (OPEFBF) was pretreated with alkali, and lignin was extracted for further degradation into lower molecular weight phenolic compounds using enzymes and chemical means. Efficiency of monomeric aromatic compounds production from OPEFBF lignin via chemical (nitrobenzene versus oxygen) and enzymatic [cutinase versus manganese peroxidase (MnP)] approaches was...

Crude cellulase from oil palm empty fruit bunch by Trichoderma asperellum UPM1 and Aspergillus fumigatus UPM2 for fermentable sugars production.

Cellulase is an enzyme that converts the polymer structure of polysaccharides into fermentable sugars. The high market demand for this enzyme together with the variety of applications in the industry has brought the research on cellulase into focus. In this study, crude cellulase was produced from oil palm empty fruit bunch (OPEFB) pretreated with 2% NaOH with autoclave, which was composed of 5...
